Raptors 905 set new franchise records for single-game field goal percentage and three point percentage in a 132-114 win over the Delaware 87ers Friday night at Bob Carpenter Center in Newark, Delaware. The Mississauga club shot 63.9 percent from the field (46-for-72), including 64.7 percent from three-point range (11-for-17), to achieve new team bests.

Delaware turned a 28-20 deficit into a 32-30 lead with a 12-2 run in the last two minutes of the first quarter to finish the frame ahead. The second quarter was all Raptors 905, with the Mississauga club outscoring the 87ers by 18 in the frame, including a 21-4 run in the latter half of the period, to carry a 70-54 advantage into halftime.

The 87ers drew the score to within single digits with just over one minute to go in the third quarter, but Raptors 905 finished the frame with a 7-2 run to regain a 14-point lead, 98-84, heading into the final period. In the fourth, Raptors 905 led by as many as 25 points and no fewer than 14 as it held off Delaware to earn its 14th win on the season and tie the season series, 3-3.

Six Raptors 905 players reached double digits in points, including Scott Suggs (25), Greg Smith (24), Axel Toupane (23), Sim Bhullar (18), Shannon Scott (15) and Melvin Johnson III (12). Bhullar and Smith shared the game high for rebounds with 13 each to complete double-doubles. Scoring in double digits for the Delaware were Christian Wood (game-high 29), Russ Smith (24), Jamal Jones (19), Rodney Carney (12) and Ty Greene (11). Russ Smith also had a game high 12 assists.

Raptors 905 led Delaware in field goal percentage (63.9-44.3), three point percentage (64.7-39.3) and points in the paint (60-46) while the 87ers held the advantage in free throw percentage (78.1-74.4) and second-chance points (12-11). Raptors 905 also out-rebounded Delaware 50-27. The teams tied in fast-break points with four each.

Raptors 905 is back in action Sunday, February 28 when the club visits the Erie BayHawks at 2 p.m.
