Westchester Knicks Inaugural Season Schedule Announced

WHITE PLAINS, September 9, 2014 - The Westchester Knicks, the official NBA Development League affiliate of the New York Knickerbockers, will play their inaugural home game at the Westchester County Center on Wednesday, November 19, facing the Canton Charge, the NBA D-League affiliate of the Cleveland Cavaliers. The match-up highlights a 24-home-game schedule that was announced by the league earlier.

"This is an exciting time not only for the New York Knicks franchise, but for the residents of Westchester County," said Westchester Knicks Vice President of Sales and Business Operations, Bill Boyce. "We are proud to be Westchester's team and look forward to bringing an exciting brand of basketball to the Westchester County Center, a venue with a great basketball tradition."

The Knicks' second home game, on Friday, November 21, features the two newest D-League teams as the Westchester Knicks face off against the Grand Rapids Drive, the Detroit Pistons' affiliate.

The Westchester Knicks open their first season on the road against Oklahoma City on Sunday, November 16 at 3:00 p.m.

Of the 24 home games at the Westchester County Center, located in downtown White Plains, 16 are scheduled to take place on weekends. Tip-off for the majority of Westchester's home games during the 2014-15 season will start at 7:00 p.m.
