Idaho Stampede Announces 2014-15 Regular Season Schedule

BOISE (September 9, 2014) - The Idaho Stampede announced today the team's 2014-15 regular season schedule. The Stampede will tip off its 17th season against the Erie BayHawks on Friday, November 14 at CenturyLink Arena, opening at home for the second consecutive season. The regular season will conclude at Texas on April 4. Idaho will face 10 different opponents at home throughout the campaign.
Schedule highlights include 17 weekend games with eight Friday games and nine Saturday games. Idaho will also host its first ever contest on Christmas Day against the Reno Bighorns.
Other Stampede games of note include a trip to Michigan for a game against the Grand Rapids Drive (February 4), the team's first season in the NBA Development League. The Stampede also play five games against the Austin Toros, the NBA D-League affiliate of the 2014 NBA Champion San Antonio Spurs.
Fans can expect to see former Stampede assistant coach Joel Abelson as he enters his second season as the head coach of the Reno Bighorns. Idaho will host Reno three times (November 28, November 29 and December 25).
