Dodson began the season in the Power rotation, making seven starts before being transferred off the roster in a paper move on May 13. Dodson went 2-3 over his seven starts with a 3.12 ERA. The southpaw suffered a broken left hand in mid-May and was placed on the Power's Disabled List. Eliecer Navarro was transferred to State College to clear a roster spot.
SHUTOUT STATS: West Virginia pitchers worked their tenth shutout of the season Wednesday night to match the club record. The 2006 club recorded ten shutouts as well while the Power were still affiliated with Milwaukee. Since the association with the Pirates began in 2009, the Power have pitched 25 shutouts over two plus years, compared to 29 during the four year Brewer stint.

Four days later, they'll host Delmarva for four.
