Weekly Rewind

Friday, Nov. 23 - PENGUINS 3 at Springfield 4

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton battled back to force OT, but fell in the extra period to a power play goal. Ethan Prow recorded two points for the Penguins (1G-1A), including the tally that sent the game past regulation.

Saturday, Nov. 24 - PENGUINS 2 vs. Hershey 3

Kevin Czuczman scored the Pens' first extra attacker goal of the season as part of a late third period charge, but an equalizer never materialized. Ryan Haggerty had two assists and John Muse made 31 saves in his Penguins debut.

Sunday, Nov. 25 - PENGUINS 2 vs. Providence 4

The Penguins created a flurry of scoring chances in the third period, but Bruins goalie Zane McIntyre stood tall and made 32 stunning saves to hold off the home team.

The Week Ahead

Wednesday, Nov. 28 - PENGUINS at Hershey

The Pens try to avenge last weekend's loss to their bitter rival. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton has not lost in regulation at Giant Center since Mar. 4, 2017 and is 7-1-1-1 in its last 10 trips to Hershey.

Friday, Nov. 30 - PENGUINS at Rochester

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton takes on the North Division-leading Rochester Americans for the first time this season. Rochester also has the second-best record in the Eastern Conference, and defenseman Zach Redmond leads all league blueliners in goals (13) and points (22).

Saturday, Dec. 1 - PENGUINS at Toronto

The defending Calder Cup Champions welcome the Penguins through their doors for a Saturday afternoon game. Toronto has one of the AHL's most high-powered offenses, averaging four goals per game, but allows 4.11 goals per contest.

Ice Chips

- Thomas Di Pauli has eight points (4G-4A) in his last eight games.

- Ryan Haggerty has recorded an assist in four consecutive games and has seven helpers over the last six games.

- Ethan Prow is tied for the second-best plus/minus rating among all AHL defensemen (+14).

- Stefan Elliott played in his 400th professional game on Saturday, Nov. 24.

- Tim Erixon skated in his first game this season on Sunday, Nov. 25. It was his 120th career game with the Penguins.

- The Penguins haven't faced an opponent from the North Division since Oct. 13 at Cleveland.
