Mississippi RiverKings News Release

SOUTHAVEN, MS --- The Memphis RiverKings are inviting all ghosts, ghouls, mummies and anyone wearing a mask of a former U.S. President to come out their Halloween Night game on Tuesday with the Oklahoma City Blazers. The game starts at 7:05 at the DeSoto Civic Center.

Fans that come to the game in costume will receive Red Level tickets for $5 (normally $12 at the box office). Those fans can also compete in the costume contests that will take place during the first intermission. There will be two categories; one for children 12 and younger and one for those 13 and older.

Also, the first 1,500 fans will receive WMC Channel 5 RiverKings CheerStix.

The game itself should also be a good one. The RiverKings are coming off back to back wins over division rival Bossier-Shreveport in which they gave up just two goals in the two games combined. The Blazers are 3-0-1 in the young season and are second in the CHL in scoring, with an average of 4.5 goals scored a game.

Following tomorrow night's game, the RiverKings head out on the road for the first time with games at Oklahoma City on Friday and Tulsa on Saturday. The team returns home on Sunday for a 5:05 game with the expansion Rocky Mountain Rage at the DCC. Sunday's game is a family day where fans can get two adult tickets and two kids (12 and under) tickets in the Red Level seats for only $35. The regular box office rates for those tickets would be $48. Those family packs can only be purchased at the DCC box office.

That Sunday game will be followed by a post game skate that will feature all RiverKings players.
