LAST WEEK'S RECORD: 0-1-1 OVERALL RECORD: 1-1-1, 3 pts., 4th Place Northwest Division
Oct. 27 @ Youngstown SteelHounds, 5-4 Overtime Loss - Anders Strome completed the first hat trick in Rage franchise history when he tallied the game-tying goal with 2:09 remaining in regulation to help Rocky Mountain overcome a 4-2 deficit to begin the third. Youngstown won in overtime with a power play goal.
Oct. 28 @ Youngstown SteelHounds, 4-2 Loss - Mark Wires and Dorian Anneck scored as the Rage suffered their first regulation loss of the season.
THIS WEEK'S UPCOMING GAMES
Friday, Nov. 3 @ Wichita Thunder, 6:05 p.m. MST - The Rage kick-off their first three-games-in-three-days stretch of the season. Radio broadcast and online streaming TBD.
Saturday, Nov. 4 @ Oklahoma City Blazers, 2:05 p.m. MST **Please note time change** - A re-match of the Rage's first pre-season game, which they won over the Blazers, 4-2, on Oct. 13. Radio broadcast and online streaming TBD.
Sunday, Nov. 5 @ Memphis RiverKings, 4:05 p.m. MST - Final game of a six-game road trip to begin the 2006-07 season. Live play-by-play action on Z560 AM and online at www.rockymountainrage.com begins at 3:50 p.m. MST with the pre-game show.
HOME OPENER
Friday, Nov. 10 vs. Tulsa Oilers, 7:05 p.m. MST - Inaugural game at the Broomfield Event Center. Every fan will receive a Rage Rag and the first 5,000 fans will receive a Rage magnet schedule.
NOTES
* The Rage have scored on their first shot of the game during each of their first three contests.
* Strome's three-goal performance on Friday is one of four hat tricks in the CHL this season. His four goals tie him for fifth across the CHL in goals scored.
* Strome (4g-2a) and Anneck (2g-4a) are tied for the team lead with six points apiece, which ties them for 11th in the league in overall scoring.
* Rocky Mountain will play three games in three days on eight occasions this season. The next such stretch is not until the team's first three games of 2007 on Jan. 4 (vs. Youngstown), Jan. 5 (vs. Arizona), and Jan. 6 (at Colorado).
* The Rage are ranked 8th league-wide on the power play (16.0%) and tied for 8th on the penalty kill (82.9%). Anneck leads the team with two power play goals this season.
