Utah Royals FC News Release
On Thursday, March 26th, Utah Royals FC announced that forward **KK Ream** suffered a season-ending ACL tear during training. The 16-year-old Utah native has undergone successful surgery and will work closely with the Royals medical team during her recovery.
Ream joined the club in December of 2024, becoming URFC's youngest signee, signing at 15 years and 157 days. She became the youngest goalscorer in NWSL history after scoring her debut goal against the Portland Thorns on August 29, 2025 in the 85th minute, and winning the game for the Royals 2-1.
While this is undoubtedly a difficult and frustrating time for Ream, staff and fans across the club wanted to send messages of support to let her know that she is not alone on the road to recovery.
