Wave Ready for Florida Tropics Saturday

March 22, 2019 - Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) - Milwaukee Wave News Release

The Six-Time Champion Milwaukee Wave takes on division foes the Florida Tropics in their final meeting of the regular season Saturday night at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.

Kick-off is scheduled for 6:05pm.

"The Tropics are a dangerous team that we are not taking lightly," said Milwaukee Wave Head Coach Giuliano Oliviero. "They (Florida) are coming off an impressive win against the Comets (Kansas City) and are still not officially out of the playoffs."

This is the fourth and final meeting of the season between the Wave and Tropics, with Milwaukee winning all three of the meetings so far by scores of 7-2 and 8-4 in Milwaukee and 10-9 at the RP Funding Center in Florida.

"We've trained well this week for Saturday's game," added Oliviero. "But we haven't lost sight of what's ahead in the playoffs. We're working hard and looking forward to playing in front of our fans. They've been awesome this season."
