Washington Wild Things News Release
WASHINGTON, PA â The Washington Wild Things, presented by Washington Federal Savings Bank, continued their winning ways Monday night by rolling past Florence in front of a sellout crowd at Falconi Field.
Washington's Ryan Ewin improved to 8-2 on the season as he pitched six innings and allowed four runs. His cause was helped by an offense that posted two runs in the third and three runs in the fifth to put the game out of reach.
Matt Bok recorded a triple and two RBI, Jay Coakley added two hits and two RBI, and Chad Kinyon had two RBI and a single.
Brendon Davis recorded his fourth save of the season for the Wild Things as he pitched the final three innings in shutout fashion.
The final game of the four-game series is scheduled for Tuesday night, and the first pitch is set to be thrown at 7:05 p.m. Also, tickets for the Wild Things' playoff series go on sale Saturday, August 28. Game one for the division series is scheduled for Wednesday, September 1. Tickets can be purchased in person and the Wild Things ticket window, online at www.washingtonwildthings.com, or by phone at 1-866-456-WILD.
