Warriors Acquire Zach Norvell Jr in Trade

SANTA CRUZ, CA - The Santa Cruz Warriors have acquired Zach Norvell Jr. in exchange for the returning player rights to Juan Toscano-Anderson and Santa Cruz's 2020 first round pick, it was announced today.

Toscano-Anderson has played the past two seasons with the Santa Cruz Warriors and is currently averaging 12.7 points and 9.1 rebounds. Toscano-Anderson spent four seasons with Fuerz Regia de Monterrey in the Mexican LNBP League and won the 2017-18 LNBP MVP award while helping his team to the LNBPP Championship. Toscano-Anderson signed with the Golden State Warriors on February 7 and is averaging 5.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 18.0 minutes per game.

Norvell Jr. played in 29 games (17 starts) with the South Bay Lakers this season averaging 15.2 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. Norvell Jr. signed a 10-day contract with the Golden State Warriors on February 8 and appeared in three games averaging 3.3 points and 1.7 rebounds in 12.0 minutes per game.
