Greensboro Acquires Trey Phills

Greensboro Swarm News Release
(GREENSBORO, N.C.) - The Greensboro Swarm, the NBA G League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets, announced today that the team acquired Trey Phills via the available player pool.
Phills, 23, was a four-year player at Yale University (2015-19). The Charlotte native appeared in 107 games (80 starts) with the Bulldogs and scored over 700 career points while pulling down over 300 career rebounds. He went undrafted in the 2019 NBA Draft but was selected in the 2019 NBA G League Draft by the Windy City Bulls.
He is the son of the late Charlotte Hornet, Bobby Phills.
Phills (6-2, 185) will wear No. 4 for Greensboro.
