
Warriors Acquire Taphorns

Moose Jaw Warriors General Manager Alan Millar has announced the acquisition of forwards Keenan (2000) and Kaeden Taphorn (2000) from the Kootenay ICE in exchange for forward Nick Bowman (2000) and a 6th round pick in 2021.
Keenan Taphorn (RW), 6'1, 175lbs, was originally drafted by the ICE in the 2nd round, 34th overall, at the 2015 WHL Bantam Draft and in 11 games this season he has one goal and two points. In 142 regular season games he has 11 goals, 21 assists, and 32 points.
Kaeden Taphorn, (LW), 6'1, 180lbs, was originally selected by Vancouver in the 3rd round, 47th overall, at the 2015 WHL Bantam Draft and was acquired by the ICE in January 2016. In 11 games this season he has one goal and three points and in 123 regular season games he has 11 goals, 13 assists, and 24 points.
The Yorkton products are expected to make their Warriors debut Wednesday against the Prince Albert Raiders.
