
Warriors Acquire Ryan Taylor and Frankie Ferrari

SANTA CRUZ, CA - The Santa Cruz Warriors have acquired guard Ryan Taylor (returning rights) and guard Frankie Ferrari (available player pool) the team announced today.
Prior to coming to Santa Cruz, Taylor played 16 games for GS Iraklis Thessaloniki during the 2021-22 season. Taylor has spent parts of the last two seasons with Santa Cruz after being acquired on December 14, 2019. During the 2021 single site, Taylor averaged 8.6 points, 2.4 rebounds and 43.2% behind the arc. Taylor graduated from Northwestern University where he averaged 9.8 points in 31 games (31 starts).
Ferrari played four seasons at the University of San Francisco and was named to the All-WCC First Team his last two seasons. He averaged 9.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and 3.7 assists during his collegiate career. Ferrari has played internationally the past two seasons, most recently with the Brose Bamberg of the Basketball Bundesliga (Germany).
In related roster moves, the Warriors have waived Eddie Stansberry and Trevor John.
