Warriors Acquire Import Defenceman

Moose Jaw Warriors General Manager Alan Millar has announced the acquisition of import 19-year-old defenceman Libor Zabransky from the Saskatoon Blades in exchange for a 7th round pick in the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft.

"We are pleased to add Libor to our hockey club.  He's a big, strong guy who moves well and has good experience in our league.  Libor will complement our group of defencemen well," General Manager Alan Millar.

From Brno, Czech Republic, Zabransky, 6'1", 197lbs, has one goal, five assists, and six points in 16 games with the Blades this season.  This is Zabransky's third season in the WHL, he played the two previous seasons with the Kelowna Rockets and has dressed in 123 regular-season games and has five goals, 29 assists, and 34 points.

Zabransky will join the Warriors for practice this week as they prepare for games this weekend against Winnipeg and Swift Current on Friday and Saturday at Mosaic Place.  Tickets are available at the Mosaic Place Box Office or online at www.mjwarriors.ca.
