
ICE Look to Finish Home-Stand with a Win

GAME PREVIEW: The Winnipeg ICE face the Red Deer Rebels on November 6 to finish off a four-game home stand that started on October 30. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 P.M. CT.
Tonight's game will be the first of four meetings between these two clubs in the 2019-2020 season. The ICE are 3-2-0-0 in their last five outings, with a 4-0 win over Swift Current in their last game on November 2. As for Red Deer, they will look to bounce back after falling 5-2 to Brandon last night, now 1-2-0-0 to start their six-game road trip in November.
Following tonight's contest, the ICE travel to Mosaic Place to play the Moose Jaw Warriors on November 8th, before returning home to host the Regina Pats the following night. Red Deer will end off their six game road trip with games in Saskatoon and Prince Albert on November 8th and 9th, respectively, before returning home.

LAST GAME - 4-0 WIN OVER SWIFT CURRENT: The Winnipeg ICE maintained their position in the standings on Saturday night after a 4-0 against the visiting Swift Current Broncos, following a loss to the Lethbridge Hurricanes the night before. Nolan Orzeck would open the scoring in the first period with an individual effort assisted by goaltender Dean McNabb, which would later stand as the winner. McNabb stopped all 21 shots in the win, earning his second career WHL shutout. Jackson Leppard stays hot with the ICE, picking up a goal, to give him five points in five games since being acquired from the Prince George Cougars.
