Spokane, Wash. -- The Spokane Chiefs announced on Wednesday that goaltender Brett Balas has been reassigned. He is expected to join the Drumheller Dragons of the AJHL.
Balas, a 2001-born goalie acquired by the Chiefs from Prince Albert on October 15, appeared in one game, making seven saves on seven shots faced in 13 minutes. He will remain on the Chiefs' protected list.
Spokane goaltender and Los Angeles Kings prospect LukÃ¡à ¡ Paà â¢ÃÂk returned to the lineup last Friday after missing extended time with a lower body injury.
