BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors Professional Hockey Club have announced dates for the 2006-07 national anthem auditions, mascot tryouts and the annual job fair, all of which will occur in September.
The Condors Job Fair will be held on Thursday, Sept. 21 at the Holiday Inn Select from 5-6:30pm. The Holiday Inn Select is located at 801 Truxtun Ave, next door to the Rabobank Arena. During the job fair the Condors will be looking for responsible game-day employees to help with game night operations, on-ice events and in-stands promotions.
On Monday, Sept. 25 the Condors will hold national anthem auditions from 4- 6pm at the Rabobank Arena. Individual singers and small groups are invited to audition. The Condors are looking for Canadian National Anthem singers as well as American Anthem singers. To reserve an audition time please contact the Condors main office at 324- PUCK (7825). For the auditions please enter through the security door, which is accessible on N Street, 20 minutes prior to performance time.
On Saturday, Sept. 30, the Condors will hold mascot tryouts from 1-3:45pm at the Bakersfield Ice Sports Center located at 1325 Q Street. The Condors are looking for two energetic mascots to attend community appearances and interact with the fans on game nights. No experience necessary. Call 324-PUCK (7825) to register for tryouts.

The Condors Kids Club Early Bird Special ends Friday, Sept. 1. This week is the last chance to sign your child up for just $15 After Friday, Kids Club membership will increase to $20 Members, age 12 and under, will receive admission to six pre- determined games, several opportunities to meet the players, coaches, and mascots, a Kids Club T-shirt, an exclusive badge for members only and cool prizes courtesy of the Bakersfield Californian, Brighthouse Networks and Wells Fargo Bank.
