Reading Royals News Release

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL and the Reading Phillies of the Eastern League will get together again tonight at FirstEnergy Stadium in Reading to continue the celebration that began last night but was shortened when the game against the New Britain Rock Cats was postponed due to inclement weather and unsafe field conditions. That game will be made up as part of a double-header against New Britain tonight, with Game One beginning at 6:05 pm (gates open at 5:30 pm) and Game Two following immediately thereafter. The Phillies are going to wear their special black and purple "Royals-style" jerseys in Game One tonight, and those jerseys will be auctioned after Game Two. Chris Bala and Royals' General Manager, Gordon Kaye, will be on hand to throw out the first pitch tonight and to sign autographs. Tickets from last night's game can be redeemed at the Phillies' ticket office for tonight's double-header (or for any game remaining on this season's schedule-or for select games in 2007). More information on tonight's double-header and ticket redemption procedures is available at the Phillies' web site, www.readingphillies.com.
