TOLEDO, OH- The Toledo Walleye take the Central Division with their 4-2 win tonight over Cincinnati, and continue to solidify home ice advantage for the upcoming 2018 ECHL Kelly Cup Playoffs. This is the fourth straight division title won by the Walleye. Toledo continues to shoot for finishing first overall in the Western Conference and the ECHL!
Pat Nagle stopped 29 of 31 shots and is now 36-5-3-1 on the season. He has set a new Toledo ECHL record for most wins in a single regular season with 36. The Walleye are 49-16-3-2 on the season and 21-10-2-2 on the road.
With tonight's victory, Dan Watson has reached 100 wins in two seasons as a head coach.
2017-18 has been another record-setting season! Thanks to our fans, the Walleye have set new team records for overall attendance and sellouts for a single season.
