VOYAGERS ROUT CHUKARS

Behind a career-high five RBIs from Landon Lassiter and 10 two-out runs, the Voyagers tied their season-high in runs in a 13-6 rout of Idaho Falls Saturday night. Zach Fish gave the visitors the lead in the first, homering for the fourth time in three games to make it 2-0. Great Falls added five in the seventh on RBI singles from Frank Califano, Fish, and Dante Flores, and a two-run single from Lassiter. In the seventh, Lassiter had a three-run triple, and Johan Cruz pitched in with an RBI single. The final two runs came in the eighth, as Sikes Orvis hit his first pro homer, and a run scored on an Idaho Falls error.

EINHARDT KEEPS ON ROLLIN'

The 13 runs was plenty for right-hander Evin Einhardt as he continued his strong run, giving up one run on one hit in five innings last night, to earn the win for his third consecutive start. During his three-start winning streak, the Battle Creek, Mich., native has given up six hits and just two earned runs in 16.0 innings. The righty's ERA now sits at 3.23, the fifth-lowest among qualified Pioneer League starters.

NOTHING FISHY HERE

Catcher Zach Fish has been red hot as of late, posting multi-hit efforts in six of the seven games during his current hitting streak, the longest streak of his 2015 season. Over this stretch, the former Oklahoma State Cowboy is 14-30 (.467), boosting his average to .357, the 9th-highest average in the league. Fish has swatted five homers during this run, with four over the last three games, including his first career multi-homer game on Friday. The backstop has also collected at least one RBI in each of his last seven games and 14 total during this run, pushing his season total to 20, which is the most among Voyager hitters this year.

MORE ON THE OFFENSE

In last night's victory, Great Falls tied their season-high with 13 runs, and collected 15 hits. Each of the Voyagers starting nine had at least one hit, and five had at least two. Victor Velasquez led the way with three knocks, while Frank Califano, Zach Fish, Dante Flores, and Landon Lassiter each had two. Eight of the nine Voyagers scored at least once as well, with Velasquez scoring a team-high three times.
