LOUISVILLE, KY -- Starter Chris Volstad doubled twice, drove in four runs and pitched seven innings of one-run ball to power the Indianapolis Indians to an 8-1 win over the Louisville Bats Friday night at Slugger Field.

On the mound, Volstad cruised to his team-best 11th win and fourth straight victory on the road. He tossed 6 2/3 shutout innings before three consecutive singles plated his lone run on the night.

Elias Diaz went 3-for-5 with two runs, two RBIs and a solo homer.

Travis Snider collected two more hits and scored twice, improving his Triple-A totals to a .407 batting average with five runs in eight games for the Tribe.
