The Bulls play game two of a four-game series against the Charlotte Knights in the first series of a six-game homestand. Durham has won a season-high eight games in a row, but is still just 20-23 since the All-Star break. The Bulls have dropped 39 of their previous 67 contests to go from a 2.0-game lead in the IL South to a 6.5-game deficit. Charlotte - the Chicago White Sox top affiliate - is 5-7 over its last 12, and just 10-15 in August. The Knights enter today in 3rd place in the IL South, 4.5 games back of Norfolk for the division lead and 7.0 games back of Columbus for the Wild Card.
