Vey Returns to Manchester

LOS ANGELES, CA - The Los Angeles Kings, the parent club of the Manchester Monarchs, have activated forward Colin Fraser from the injured reserve list and have assigned forward Linden Vey to the Monarchs, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.

Fraser missed the last three Kings games due to an upper body injury. He was placed on injured reserve on December 14 (retroactive to December 11). In 17 games, he has recorded one point (an assist) and 18 penalty minutes.

Vey has played in 14 games with the Kings this year and has five points (all assists) and zero penalty minutes. Vey has also played in 10 games with the Monarchs this season, and has 11 points (3-811) and four penalty minutes.

The Monarchs will face-off against the Portland Pirates in their first VIP Cup match-up at the Verizon Wireless Arena this season when the puck drops at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 20.
