
Vancouver Canadians unveil new Hall of Fame dedicated to Broadcasters and Journalists

(Nat Bailey Stadium - Vancouver, BC) - The Vancouver Canadians are proud to announce the induction of nine local media members into the newly unveiled Vancouver Canadians Broadcast and Journalist Hall of Fame set to debut on Friday, August 29th, 2008 at Nat Bailey Stadium.
The Vancouver Canadians Broadcasters and Journalism Hall of Fame will pay tribute to the many local media members who have dedicated their time and effort toward baseball both professional and amateur. The Canadians ownership group of Jake Kerr, Jeff Mooney and Andy Dunn, are proud to announce the charter members into the Hall of Fame who will forever be known as the 'Starting Nine'.

A panel of local baseball observers, including the Vancouver Canadians ownership group, has selected these nine gentlemen. The Canadians will honour these nine individuals and their families at a pre-game ceremony set for 6:30pm on Friday, August 29th at Nat Bailey Stadium.
