USL Championship Announces Bethlehem Steel FC's 2019 Home Opener

CHESTER, Pa. - The USL Championship today announced that Bethlehem Steel FC is scheduled to host North Carolina FC in the club's 2019 home opener at Talen Energy Stadium.
Steel FC's entire 34-game slate which will span 33 weeks is expected to be released in the near future.
In addition to the club's home opener, Steel FC will be part of a pair of home openers, making inaugural trips to Birmingham Legion FC and Loudoun United FC. Steel FC is scheduled to open its season in Alabama on Saturday, March 9. The final road trip announced by the league sees Steel FC make its debut against Loudoun United FC on Friday, May 3.
The announcement marks just the second time in Steel FC history that the club will open its season on the road. Steel FC's only other road debut came in the club's first season, where they picked up a 1-0 victory at FC Montreal. Overall, Steel FC is 2-1 in season openers.
