Louisville City FC News Release
LOUISVILLE - Adding more quality to its roster ahead of the 2019 USL season, Louisville City FC can today confirm the signing of forward Lucky Mkosana from Penn FC. The Zimbabwean striker becomes the 18th signing under City boss John Hackworth in the offseason period and, per club policy, terms of the contract will not be released.
Mkosana is delighted by the opportunity to sign with Los Morados, telling LouCity.com:
"I'm extremely excited to be part of an incredible organization and I'm looking forward to meeting the team, staff, fans, and to kick off the 2019 season."
Coach Hackworth notes the quality a veteran like Mkosana will add to his forward line, stating:
"I have known Lucky for quite some time. In addition to being a quality goal scorer, he is an even better person. On the field, his movement off the ball fit the profile for what we were looking for. He is versatile enough to play several positions across our forward line, but most importantly, has the work ethic and attitude that will no doubt contribute to our group."
