LouCity Adds Academy Goalkeeper Collin Haus

Louisville City FC has signed goalkeeper Collin Haus to a USL Academy contract.

The contract allows Haus, 18, to train with and compete for LouCity's professional first team while also maintaining his eligibility for a future NCAA career. Haus is available for selection in Friday's game at Hartford Athletic.

The signing was officially completed prior to the USL Championship Roster Freeze on Monday, Sept. 7. Haus joined LouCity this week for training.

Listed at 6-foot-3, 180 pounds, Haus competes with the LouCity Academy at the club level. He is a senior at Trinity High School and also plays with the Shamrocks' boys' varsity soccer team.

"Joining the Louisville City first team means a lot to me. I've worked for this moment for a long time, and I'm thankful for everyone who helped me get here," Haus said. "I am extremely blessed and ready to take advantage of the opportunity."

Haus has been involved with LouCity's senior team in the past, traveling with the team as part of the 2025 preseason.

"Our academy system continues to excel. Collin has stepped in this week and performed well. He is quick, technically sound and wants to learn," LouCity goalkeeper coach Scott Budnick said. "Collin has taken hold of this opportunity with two hands. I am happy for him."

Haus will wear jersey No. 91.

He joins forward Cooper Conley as LouCity players signed to USL Academy contracts. Midfielder Thomas Weinrich was also signed to an Academy deal, before departing to begin his college career at IU Indy.

LouCity has utilized the USL Academy mechanism with several players over the years. Notably, Brandon Dayes played for LouCity in 2025 on a USL Academy deal before signing a professional contract with the club ahead of this season.
