United Defender Taylor Kemp Sidelined for the Remainder of the Season

WASHINGTON - United defender Taylor Kemp has been sidelined for the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery on his labrum on June 21.

Kemp sustained the injury in the 2017 MLS season and has not featured for the Black-and-Red since the 1-1 draw against Toronto FC on Aug. 5, 2017. Since he was selected 17th overall in the 2013 MLS SuperDraft by United, the 27-year-old has scored three goals and recorded 14 assists in 101 MLS regular season appearances for the Black-and-Red.
