MLS Issues Disciplinary Committee Decisions

NEW YORK - The MLS Disciplinary Committee has issued Colorado Rapids forward Yannick Boli an additional game suspension (two games total) and an additional undisclosed fine for his violent conduct during the 45+ minute of Colorado's match against the Houston Dynamo on June 9 (VIDEO ). Boli, who originally received a red card for the play, served his first suspension on June 13 during the Rapids' match against the Chicago Fire. The forward will serve his second suspension on June 23 during Colorado's match against Minnesota United FC.

The MLS Disciplinary Committee has suspended Philadelphia Union midfielder Haris Medunjanin an additional two-games (three games total) and issued an additional undisclosed fine for using insulting and abusive language and exhibiting aggressive behavior toward a match official during the 19th minute of Philadelphia's match against Atlanta United on June 2 (VIDEO ). Medunjanin, who originally received a red card for his actions, served his first suspension during Philadelphia's match against Toronto FC on June 8. The midfielder will serve his additional two games during Philadelphia's next MLS Regular Season matches on June 23 against Vancouver Whitecaps FC and on June 30 against the Los Angeles Football Club.

Jim Curtin fined for public criticism of officials

MLS Commissioner Don Garber has issued an undisclosed fine to Philadelphia Union head coach Jim Curtin for his public criticisms of the officials following the Union's match against Atlanta United on June 2.
