Biloxi Shuckers catcher Tyler Heineman has been promoted to Triple-A Colorado Springs. Heineman becomes the third player promoted from the Shuckers roster in the last week.
In 22 games with the Shuckers, Heineman hit .206 with five doubles, a home run and seven RBI. Behind the plate, Heineman caught 171.1 innings, guiding the pitching staff to a 2.48 ERA. He also threw out eight of 21 base runners, the third best percentage of runners thrown out in the Southern League.
The Shuckers roster sits at 24 active players, with two players on the Disabled List.
