
Twomley joins Dogs, pair head to DL

Portland, Maine- The Boston Red Sox today made the following roster moves for the Double-A Portland Sea Dogs:
OF Jason Twomley received from Extended Spring Training.
OF Chris Durbin and LHP Randy Beam placed on the disabled list.
Twomley was a 27th round draft pick of the Red Sox in the June 2005 draft. He spent the entire 2005 season at Single-A Lowell where he hit .252 with 7 home runs and 36 RBI in 66 games.
The 23 year old is a native of Fitchburg, Massachusetts and attended the University of Massachusetts.
The Sea Dogs continue their homestand with the Connecticut Defenders (Giants) tonight at 6:00 PM at Hadlock Field.
