Tulsa Oilers Sign Three Players

Tulsa Oilers News Release
Tulsa, Okla. - Tulsa Oilers Football, proud member of the IFL, made multiple transactions prior to Week Eleven's matchup against the Pirates, signing WR/QB Devond Blair Jr., DL Trevonte Carter, and OL/DL Dante Bivens.
Blair Jr., comes off of a fantastic CIF season in 2022 with the Topeka Tropics, having a 50% completion percentage and recording 282 passing yards with eight touchdowns through the air, along with 109 yards on the ground with three rushing scores. The former Tropic also played wide receiver during his time in Topeka, compiling 271 receiving yards on 22 catches, totaling eight receiving touchdowns. The new Oilers utility player attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University where he played his college football.
Carter, joins Tulsa after spending time in the CIF with the Salina Liberty in 2023, recording 22 tackles in six games with 1.5 sacks. The former CIF defensive lineman played his college football at the University of West Alabama.
Bivens, spent his time most recently at Colorado State in 2022 appearing on the offensive line in all 12 games with the Rams, starting in each. Before his time with Colorado State, the new Oilers lineman suited up for the University of Tulsa, playing in34 career games with 16 starts while being a regular on special teams and an honorable mention All-AAC pick in 2020, playing the two guard spots.
In order to make room for new signings the Oilers have made the following additional moves.
Tulsa has placed RB Joshua Robinson on RTR, released DB Tre'Sean Artis, and finally, placed lineman Adrien Hernandez on Short-Term Injury Reserve.

Tulsa's next home game is Saturday, May 27, against the Massachusetts Pirates on Military Appreciation Night. Kickoff is set for 7:05 p.m.
