Tuesday's Game Suspended Due to Rain

South Bend Silver Hawks News Release


South Bend, IN - The South Bend Silver Hawks and Quad Cities River Bandits game on Tuesday night has been suspended in the fourth inning due to rain with the River Bandits leading 2-0.

The game will be resumed tomorrow evening at 5:00 PM from the point it was left off, and will be completed through nine innings. Tomorrow's regularly scheduled game will follow the completion of the suspended game, and will last only seven innings. Gates will open at 4:30 PM.

When the game resumes, the River Bandits will have a 2-0 lead and a runner at third base with two outs in the top of the fourth. Quad Cities scored on a RBI double by Jason Stidham and a RBI single by Matt Carpenter in the first inning against South Bend starter Randy Rodriguez.
