Tuesday Tilt Postponed in Beloit

BELOIT, WIS. - The Cedar Rapids Kernels and the Beloit Snappers were postponed Tuesday due to inclement weather at Pohlman Field. This series is now slated to begin Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., and Tuesday's contest will be made up Thursday within a doubleheader featuring two-seven innings tilts. Game one of Thursday's twin bill is scheduled for 4:00 p.m., and game two will begin approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one.

Due to multiple postponements and a Midwest League off day, Cedar Rapids is in its fourth consecutive day without a game. When the Kernels are in action, be sure to follow the coverage throughout the season on 1450 KMRY AM and 93.1 KMRY FM and online at www.kmryradio.com and www.kernels.com.

Cedar Rapids' next homestand runs from Friday, April 20 through Thursday, April 26. Upcoming promotions include the Royce Lewis Bobblehead Giveaway, Star Wars Night, and the season's first Bark in the Park Night. Fans can purchase tickets for all Cedar Rapids home games by visiting www.kernels.com, going to the Kernels Ticket Office, or calling (319) 896-7560. The Kernels Ticket Office is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. On Sundays when the Kernels have a home game, the Kernels Ticket Office will open at 11:00 a.m.
