
Beltre Joins Dragons

Dayton Dragons News Release
The Dayton Dragons (Midwest League) announced the following roster changes today:
Infielder Hector Vargas has been transferred from Dayton to Daytona (Florida State League).
Outfielder Michael Beltre has been transferred to Dayton from Extended Spring Training in Goodyear, Arizona.
The Dragons roster remains at the Midwest League limit of 25 players.
Beltre played in 117 games for the Dragons in 2017, batting .238 with three home runs and 36 runs batted in. He primarily served as the Dragons starting right fielder.
Vargas had appeared in six of the Dragons eight games in 2018, going 3 for 20 (.150).
The Dragons host the South Bend Cubs at 7:00 p.m. tonight at Fifth Third Field. The series continues with games Wednesday and Thursday, also at 7:00 p.m.
