Today's Game: The Dayton Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) meet the South Bend Cubs (affiliate of the Chicago Cubs) in the first game of a three-game series.
Make-Up Dates: Because of postponements of all three games at the Great Lakes Loons Friday through Sunday, make-up doubleheaders will be scheduled when the Loons visit Dayton May 18-20. Additions to the home schedule will be announced at a later date.
Series to Date/Streaks: This is the first meeting of the year between the Dragons and Cubs. Overall, the Dragons have won five straight games. South Bend has also won five straight games.
Last Game: The Dragons were postponed Friday through Sunday at Great Lakes. The Dragons have not played since Thursday.
Team Notes
Thursday, the Dragons completed their first four-game series sweep since June 30-July 3, 2017 when they swept Fort Wayne at Fifth Third Field.
The Dragons have won five straight games. They have outscored their opponents 30-17 in the four wins after being outscored 24-10 in their first three games of the season.
The Dragons are tied for second in the Midwest League in extra base hits with 27 (18 doubles, two triples, seven home runs).

Injury Notes: Dragons OF Andy Sugilio suffered a strained right hamstring on April 6 and is expected to miss 3-6 weeks from the day of the injury.
