Tucson Signs Quarterbacks Neiko Hollins and Geremy Hickbottom

The Tucson Sugar Skulls added a pair of quarterbacks to their roster for the 2024 IFL season in Neiko Hollins and Geremy Hickbottom.

Neiko Hollins enters his rookie season for the Sugar Skulls in the IFL in 2024. Hollins played at Midwestern State University for two seasons where he appeared in 16 games, tallying 9 touchdowns (eight passing, one rushing). He completed 75 passes for 1,099 yards and rushed for 59 yards on 26 attempts in his two seasons with Midwestern State. Before Midwestern State, Hollins went to Prairie View A&M where he started six games and threw for 1,853 yards on 134-of-247 passing with 21 touchdowns and eight interceptions. Hollins is from Fresno, Texas, and went to Hightower High School.

Geremy Hickbottom joins the Sugar Skulls for his rookie season in the IFL in 2024. Hickbottom played college football for Grambling State (2017-2020) and Tennessee State (2021). In three seasons (25 starts) for the Grambling State Tigers, he tossed 31 touchdowns and rushed for 16 touchdowns while throwing for over 2,000 yards in the air. He was a threat in the air and on the ground for both Tigers squads (Grambling and Tennessee State). During his four-year college career, he threw for 43 touchdowns and 22 interceptions to go with 23 rushing touchdowns while averaging 4.3 yards per carry. He previously played for the Cologne Crocodiles of the German Football League (GFL) and the Massachusetts Pirates of the Indoor Football League (IFL). Hickbottom is from Mobile, Alabama where he played high school football at Williamson High School.
