The Duke City Gladiators are gearing up for an electrifying 2024 season, and they've secured a formidable addition to their roster in the form of seasoned running back Justin Stockton. Known for his explosive style of play and versatility, Stockton is set to impact the team's offensive firepower significantly.

Stockton's football journey began during his college days with Texas Tech, where he concluded his Red Raider career with a standout senior season. His final year was marked by a remarkable rushing performance, accumulating 797 yards and scoring four touchdowns on 132 carries. Stockton showcased his ability to carry the offensive load with finesse by leading the Red Raiders in rushing attempts and yards.

Not limited to ground duties, Stockton displayed his versatility by hauling 27 receptions for 235 yards and adding a touchdown to his stat line. His 27 catches ranked fifth on the team, underlining his proficiency in contributing to the game's running and passing aspects. A true dual threat, Stockton exceeded 100 rushing yards in a game four times during the season, asserting himself as a consistent and dynamic playmaker.

Finishing the season with a total of 1,032 all-purpose yards, Stockton averaged an impressive 93.8 yards per game, securing the second spot on the team in both categories. In the NCAA Rankings, his excellence was further highlighted as he claimed the 24th spot nationally in rushing yards per carry, with an impressive average of 6.04. In the BIG 12 Rankings, Stockton's contributions placed him second in rushing yards per carry, fifth in rushing yards per game (72.5), sixth in total rushing yards, and ninth in all-purpose yards per game.

After his successful college career, Stockton transitioned to the NFL, where he showcased his talent with stints with the Seattle Seahawks and the Detroit Lions. Proving his worth on the gridiron, Stockton continued to leave an indelible mark in professional football. He significantly impacted the AAF with the Arizona Hotshots and displayed his skills in the XFL as a key player for the New York Guardians.

In 2021, Stockton played a crucial role in leading the Massachusetts Pirates to an IFL championship, demonstrating his ability to contribute to championship-caliber teams. In 2023, he continued to dazzle fans with the Memphis Showboats in the USFL, solidifying his reputation as a versatile and dynamic playmaker.
