When asked about what he is looking forward to about joining the Wranglers, Marcellus stated, "I am excited to be part of a program with a foundation of discipline and an instilled winning culture." Marcellus also added to this by stating, "I'm ready to go, I miss playing ball."

Marcellus expanded on this by saying, "I have played all five positions on the offensive line, I know what to look for on the field and still hold a student mindset of the game." Marcellus also stated, "I am charismatic guy, I will always be smiling with the fans despite how mean I will be on the field."
