The Duke City Gladiators proudly announce the signing of veteran wide receiver and defensive back Greg Dent Jr. for the upcoming 2024 Indoor Football League season. Known for his prowess on both sides of the ball, Dent is set to bring his exceptional skills and experience to elevate the Gladiators' performance.

Greg Dent Jr. has proven himself a standout player, demonstrating remarkable versatility with high-flying touchdown catches in the red zone, making him a key asset for the Gladiators' offense. His ability to contribute significantly to the defensive play further solidifies his role as an invaluable player for the team.

Dent's journey in football began in 2010 as a freshman wide receiver with the Florida State Seminoles, where he played 12 games and showcased his talents on special teams and offense. His first career reception, a 12-yard catch against Boston College, marked the beginning of a promising career.

In 2011, Dent emerged as one of the most dangerous deep threats on the Seminoles, leading the team with an impressive 19.7 yards per catch average. Throughout the season, he consistently made impactful plays, including a spectacular 50-yard touchdown reception in the season opener against ULM and a stellar three-catch performance against Charleston Southern in week two.

The highlight of Dent's college career came in 2011 against NC State, where he tied his career highs for catches (three) and touchdowns (one), setting a new career best with 70 receiving yards, including a 26-yard touchdown catch. In 2012, Dent continued to shine the following year, recording his most productive season with 27 catches, 355 receiving yards, and two touchdown grabs.
