
Northern Arizona Wranglers Sign Wide Receiver Kobay White

White joins the Wranglers for his first season in the Indoor Football League. White began his collegiate career at Boston College at Chestnut Hill, Mass. White played four seasons for the Eagles, and provided them with stellar production on the field. White earned himself a spot on the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) All-Freshman Team. In both 2018 and 2019, White was the leading receiver on his team in both receptions and yards. During 2019, White earned a selection to the Preseason All-ACC Team.
White received both his bachelor's and master's degree from Boston College. White earned his bachelor's degree in applied psychology with a minor in political science, and his master's in administration and leadership in project management. White played his final season of eligibility at The University of Maine in Orono, Maine. Throughout his entire collegiate career, White was a consistent threat to opposing defenses, as he hauled in 130 receptions for 1,769 yards and 11 touchdowns.
White is originally from Harrisburg, Pa., where he attended Bishop McDevitt High School. White was originally inspired to play football by watching his older brother play as he grew up. As far as what continues to drive White to continue playing football, he credits his love for football. Regarding his current drive to play football, White stated, "My love for the game keeps me playing, I also am inspired by the support I have from my family."
When asked about what he is looking forward to about joining the Wranglers, White stated, "I can't wait to play football and get back to winning games, I am looking forward to getting into the dynamic atmosphere of the playoffs." White added to this by saying, "In college, you don't really get the opportunity to play in that playoff atmosphere unless you are one of the top four teams."
What can Wranglers fans expect from White on the field? White stated, "If I am being honest, the fans can expect an exciting player that will make big plays." White is excited for the opportunity to play for the Wranglers and compete with the talented athletes in the IFL.
