Ryan McIntyre Re-Signs with Tulsa

Tulsa, Okla. - Tulsa Oilers Football, a proud member of the IFL and powered by Community Care, remove Ryan McIntyre from IR and re-sign to the team for 2024.

McIntyre, was formally signed with Vegas prior to the start of the 2023 season before signing with Tulsa prior to Week Eight's game against Sioux Falls. The returning Tulsa Oiler played in one game before being put on IR for the remainder of the 2023 campaign. The defensive back was a "2023 XFL Draft Player Pool" invitee and was a 2022 NFL draft prospect.

The 5'10, 200 lbs. DB played college football at Tusculum University in Tennessee, suiting up for four seasons. The former Pioneer recorded 72 tackles, 13 being for a loss in 35 games, with a career-season-high of 36 tackles during his senior year. The Chipley, Florida native picked up seven career collegiate sacks and three pass breakups.

Tulsa will see its second season begin on the road against the Frisco Fighters on March 22, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. CST. The Oilers will open their home schedule facing the Iowa Barnstormers at the BOK Center on April 6, at 7:05 p.m. CST.
