
Tucson Padres Prepare for All-Star Games

Tucson Padres News Release
Two Tucson Padres, James Darnell and Aaron Cunningham, will play on national television in the coming days. Darnell will play for the United States team in the XM All-Star Futures Game at Chase Field today. The Futures Game starts at 3:00 pm and will be televised on ESPN2.
Cunningham will represent the Tucson Padres in the Triple-A All-Star Game Wednesday at Spring Mobile Ballpark in Salt Lake City. The Triple-A All-Star Game starts at 6:05 pm Mountain Time and will be televised on MLB Network.
The 24-year-old Darnell has hit well since arriving from Double-A San Antonio, hitting three home runs in four games with the T-Pads along with a .353 batting average. Cunningham has hit .326 with nine home runs and 63 RBIs in 77 PCL games and had an eight game stint in the Major Leagues with San Diego this season.
The Tucson Padres next home game is Monday, July 18 vs. Tacoma at 7:00 pm.
