RedHawks Try for Series Win over Omaha-- The Oklahoma City RedHawks finish a four-game series against the Omaha Storm Chasers today at 4:05 p.m. at RedHawks Field at Bricktown...The RedHawks would secure their sixth series win of 2011 with a win today...The RedHawks lead the season series against the Storm Chasers 6-5...The current series is the first between the teams at RedHawks Field at Bricktown, as all of the first eight were played at Werner Park in Papillion, Neb....Oklahoma City enters Thursday 13.5 games back of first place Round Rock in the American Southern division, and 4.0 games behind third place New Orleans...Omaha comes into tonight's game in first place in the American Northern division, 1.5 games ahead of second place Memphis...

Tonight's Probable Pitchers-- RedHawks starter Nelson Figueroa (11G, 10GS, 5-4, 5.73) makes the start tonight for OKC...Figueroa did not factor in the decision on July 5, giving up six runs, five earned, on 12 hits in 5.2 innings against Iowa...The start was Figueroa's first without a decision with the RedHawks in 2011...Figueroa started 2011 as the #5 starter for the Houston Astros, making five starts and three relief appearance with Houston (8G, 5GS, 0-3, 8.69) before being designated for assignment...Vin Mazzaro (11GS, 4-0, 5.16) has spent the majority of the season with Omaha, but made five appearances with Kansas City (5G, 4GS, 1-1, 9.25)...Mazzaro picked up his first Major League win on June 12 at the Los Angeles Angels, dealing 7.0 shutout innings with five hits, five walks and five double plays of support...Mazzaro was originally penciled in as the #5 Royals starter, but due to early off days started the season in extended spring training before reporting to Omaha...

Last Game: July 9- Omaha Storm Chasers 7, Oklahoma City 1-- Omaha starter Luis Mendoza carried a no-hitter into the eighth inning, as the Omaha Storm Chasers took a 7-1 win over the Oklahoma City RedHawks before 6,130 Saturday night at RedHawks Field at Bricktown...Mendoza (6-3) allowed one unearned run and one hit over 7.0+ innings for the winning decision, while Gustavo Chacin (3-6) allowed seven runs, five earned, and 10 hits over 4.1 innings in the losing decision...Omaha scored six runs in the fifth inning to build an insurmountable lead...Anderson Hernandez broke up the no-hit bid in the eighth inning with a single over the second baseman...

Shuck Selected as PCL All-Star-- With the promotion of PCL All-Star pitcher David Carpenter to Houston, the Pacific Coast League has selected outfielder J.B. Shuck to the Pacific Coast League All-Star Game in Salt Lake City...The game is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. CT on Wednesday July 13...The All-Star nod is Shuck's third as a professional (2010-Texas League; 2008-New York-Penn League)...
