Houston Dynamo FC News Release
HOUSTON - The newest member of the Houston Dynamo and Dash family is guaranteed to bring the energy on game days. TriEagle Energy is the new Official Energy Provider of the Houston Dynamo, Houston Dash, BBVA Compass Stadium and Houston Sports Park, the club announced today.
The Woodlands-based company has been serving Texas residents since 2003 and currently serves more than 75,000 customers in the Greater Houston area. TriEagle Energy is a subsidiary of Crius Energy, a leading retail energy provider with approximately 1.4 million customers throughout the country.
"We are exceptionally proud to align our highly regarded TriEagle Energy brand with the strong Houston Dynamo and Dash brands and their large and passionate fan bases," said Michael Fallquist, Chief Executive Officer of Crius Energy, the parent company of TriEagle Energy. "We are committed to being the preferred electricity supplier to Houston residents and believe this partnership gives us another great platform to educate people about our exciting new and innovative energy products as well as best-in-class customer service."
Beginning next season, Dynamo and Dash fans can visit the Orange Zone at BBVA Compass Stadium to enjoy games, win prizes, and enroll in exclusive energy plans provided by TriEagle Energy.
TriEagle Energy will also team up with the Dynamo and Dash to help grow the Beautiful Game through the club's Kicks 4 Kids ticket program, which provides complimentary game tickets to schools and organizations that serve disadvantaged areas of the community.
"We're proud to join forces with a great locally-based company like TriEagle Energy," said Dynamo and Dash Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer David Brady. "Like us, they strive to reflect our wonderfully diverse community through innovative and progressive products as well as a customer-first mindset. We're also thrilled to partner with TriEagle to expand opportunities for young people throughout Houston by introducing them to our sport."
On average, BBVA Compass Stadium hosts more than 50 ticketed sporting events annually, as well as numerous private and non-ticketed events. Opened in 2012, the stadium has played host to 18 international soccer clubs, 28 national soccer team sides and 18 international rugby teams. It also plays host to Texas Southern University home football games. Houston Sports Park welcomes more than 220,000 visitors every year through local recreational and competitive soccer leagues, flag football and Ultimate Frisbee leagues, camps, training sessions and special events.
