FC Cincinnati to Unveil MLS Identity on November 12
October 30, 2018 - Major League Soccer (MLS) News Release
CINCINNATI - FC Cincinnati will formally make its leap to Major League Soccer on Monday, Nov. 12, when the club unveils its MLS branding and identity in an invitation-only event at Woodward Theater.
The club worked with Interbrand, a global brand consulting firm, to craft its brand strategy and identity ahead of its 2019 debut in MLS. The efforts that of that work will be revealed at the special event in two weeks.
Taking FC Cincinnati's MLS journey full circle, FCC will launch its MLS brand at the Woodward Theater, the same site where the club's top-flight ambitions first began 2016 when MLS Commissioner Don Garber visited Cincinnati for the first time for a town hall event. That event, which reached capacity, showed the league that Cincinnati and the club's ownership group had the region's commitment and desire to join MLS.
Now, almost two years since that event, FC Cincinnati will enter Major League Soccer as the league's 24th member as it debuts in the league next season.
The Nov. 12 MLS brand launch will start at 6 p.m. and will be a ticketed event with the overwhelming majority of capacity reserved for supporters and fans. It will not be open to the general public and no non-ticketed patrons will be granted entry.
