The Week Includes A Fireworks Night, Twinbill With The Blues Brothers And Cap Day

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Indians return to the friendly confines of Victory Field on Thursday for their eighth homestand of 2005. The five-game stretch includes a pair of contests against North Division-leading Norfolk (Aug. 4-5) and three games versus West Division-leading Toledo (Aug. 6-7).

THURS. -- AUG. 4 -- NORFOLK -- 7:00 p.m. ** Library Night -- It will be Indianapolis-Marion County Public Library Night at Victory Field. Participants in the library's summer reading program have received coupons for discounted admission to this game. ** Dukes of Hazzard Night -- It will also be Dukes of Hazzard Night at the "Best Minor League Ballpark in America" courtesy of HANK-FM. Families will have the opportunity to take a photo with Roscoe's Sheriff's Car. ** Throwback Uniforms -- Every Thursday this season the 2005 Indianapolis Indians wear retro uniforms. The hats, jerseys, pants and socks replicate what the Tribe wore from 1948-51, when it was last affiliated with the Pittsburgh Pirates.

FRI. -- AUG. 5 -- NORFOLK -- 7:00 p.m.

** Friday Night Fireworks -- Fans will be treated to a post-game fireworks spectacular courtesy of Reeves Buick-Pontiac and Pepsi.

** Haircuts and Autographs -- Fans who donate $10 to the National Alliance for Autism Research receive a hair cut on the Victory Field concourse courtesy of Great Clips. NASCAR Busch Series driver Tyler Walker will also be on hand to sign autographs from 5:30-6:30 p.m. near his Great Clips show car.

SAT. -- AUG. 6 -- TOLEDO -- 6:00 p.m. (DH)

** Doubleheader -- Come out to Victory Field and enjoy two games for the price of one. The Indians and Mud Hens square off in two seven-inning contests beginning at 6 p.m. ** Blues Brothers Performance -- The famous Blues Brothers will be on hand to entertain fans throughout the evening courtesy of the Art Institute of Indianapolis, Allstate Insurance and WNOU "Radio Now." ** Colts In Motion -- The Indianapolis "Colts In Motion" trailer swings by Victory Field and Colts cheerleaders will be on hand to sign autographs.

SUN. -- AUG. 7 -- TOLEDO -- 2:00 p.m. ** Souvenir Sunday -- The first 4,000 fans receive an Indians baseball cap courtesy of Pepsi, Fletcher Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep and WISG "The Song." ** Autographs and Knot Hole Run -- Select Indians players will sign autographs on the concourse from 12:45-1:15 p.m. and members of the Indians Spotlight Indianapolis/Pepsi Knot Hole Club are invited to run the bases after the game.
