The stats from that game will become official when the game is completed.

BY THE NUMBERS: Brayan Pena extened his hitting streak to a R-Braves season-high 11 games (18-40 .450). Esix Snead leads the IL in stolen bases. The other two also played in Richmond (Len Johnston of the Virginians who did it 1956-58 and former R-Brave Ed Miller who did it 1978-80). Snead is already 9th in club history in single season steals. Only three players in R-Braves history have stolen more than 47 in a year (Miller twice, Albert Hall twice, and Ralph Garr). The Braves have not been held under three runs in back to back games since the All Star Break. The Braves were held under three runs for the 49th time this season 7/28 vs. COL.. They are 3-46 in those games.

ROSTER MOVES: Atlanta re-assigned C Steve Pyzik to Myrtle Beach of the Carolina League. He did not get into a game with Richmond. Atlanta traded RHP Roman Colon and RHP Zach Miner to Detroit Sunday. The Braves roster now stands at 21 (nine pitchers, two catchers, seven infielders, and three outfielders). The Braves will add pitchers John Thomson and Mike Hampton on rehab assignments this week. Four players are on the DL. Ten Braves have earned big league call-ups this season and four are currently with Atlanta (Kyle Davies, Macay McBride, Kelly Johnson, and John Foster). The other six big league call-ups were Colon, Brayan Pena, Andy Marte, Frank Brooks, Matt Childers, and Seth Greisinger.
