Tribe Introduces Business Day Parking Shuttle

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Indians are pleased to introduce a new Business Day parking shuttle for each weekday afternoon game at Victory Field.

Beginning this Wednesday, fans may park at IUPUI (lot located at West and Michigan Streets) for just $3 and take advantage of a complimentary shuttle to the ballpark. The shuttle will run continuously from 90 minutes before the game until 30 minutes after the contest.

Additional Business Day parking is available at the Indianapolis Zoo or White River State Park for just $5. The Washington Street Government Center garage is not available during Wednesday afternoon contests.

The Indians have eight weekday afternoon games remaining in 2008 -- May 14 (2 p.m.), May 15 (11 a.m.), May 21 (11 a.m.), June 4 (2 p.m.), June 25 (2 p.m.), July 9 (2 p.m.), July 23 (2 p.m.) and Aug. 13 (2 p.m.). The shuttle will be operating on all of these dates.

The Tribe continues its eight-game homestand on Monday with a 6 p.m. doubleheader against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (Triple-A affiliate of the New York Yankees). Hot dogs, popcorn, peanuts, Cracker Jack and potato chips will be available for just $1 each as part of the Monday Dollar Menu promotion.
